Choosing the right size for your press-on nails is essential to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. To determine the correct size, follow these steps:

LTGlow tutorial on measuring nail size using tape

Measure your natural nails: Use a soft measuring tape or a ruler to measure the width of each of your natural nails, from side to side. Alternatively, you can trace the outline of your nails on a piece of paper and measure the width of each tracing.

When using pen and paper to measure your nail width, please remember not to include the pen marks in your measurements, as it may add an extra 2-3mm to your actual size. Additionally, don't forget to check both hands, as nails on one hand may be different sizes from the other.

Compare the measurements: Once you have the measurements of your natural nails, compare them to the size chart provided on our website or packaging. Match the measurements to the corresponding sizes on the chart to find the closest fit for each of your nails.

If in doubt, size up: If your natural nail measurements fall between two sizes, it's usually better to choose the slightly larger size. You can always file or shape the press-on nails to achieve a perfect fit.

How to Determine the Correct Orientation of Press-On Nails?

To correctly determine the orientation of the press-on nails, look for the small number imprinted on the underside of each nail. The end where the number is visible points towards the tip of your finger. Always ensure the numbered side is positioned towards the fingertip for the perfect fit.

How to Remove Press-On Nails Safely?

  1. Soak in Warm Water: Begin by soaking your hands in warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes. This will help soften the adhesive and make it easier to remove the nails.
  2. Gently Lift the Edges: Using a cuticle stick or an orangewood stick, gently lift the edges of the press-on nail. Start from the bottom and work your way to the sides. Be patient and gentle to avoid damaging your natural nail.
  3. Slide & Wiggle: Once the edge is lifted, gently slide the stick under the press-on nail and wiggle it back and forth. This will help loosen the adhesive and nail.
  4. Use Nail Polish Remover (if necessary): If you find that the nails are still adhering strongly, you can use an acetone-based nail polish remover. Dab a small amount on a cotton ball, place it over the nail, and wrap your fingertip with aluminum foil. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes. This will help dissolve the adhesive, making the nail easier to remove.
  5. Moisturize: Once all the nails are removed, wash your hands and apply a moisturizing hand lotion or cuticle oil. This will replenish any moisture lost during the removal process and keep your nails and cuticles healthy.

Note: Never forcibly pull or snap the press-on nails off, as this can damage your natural nails. Always take your time and use the methods above for a safe and damage-free removal.
